Dawn of FDCI and 6Degree’s Gen-Z at India Fashion Week
There is a dire need for the youth to showcase their inherent talent at a level where it gets the much needed appreciation. Considering that, good news awaits all the aspiring Indian designers! As the Autumn Winter ’19 season of India Fashion Week is about to set in the capital city next year, The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and India’s leading fashion platform 6Degree has announced the launch of its novel platform for young aspiring fashion designers, Gen-Z.
This global platform is valid for all those young designers who are into the industry from a year to maximum 3 years. The selected designers will go through a period of mentorship and will be groomed by eminent stalwarts from the fashion industry. The mentors will further select five budding designers to showcase their collections at this esteemed fashion event, India Fashion Week.
A positive step towards introducing this talent to the masses and give them the due recognition, Gen-Z will eventually be a game changer for all the young fashion designers. Kudos FDCI and 6Degree!
